At BookingDuo, we use a trusted, authorized intermediary to handle certain incoming bank transfers on behalf of the company.
The person whose name appears in the payment instructions on www.bookingduo.com at the time of your booking acts as our official payment collector and representative. This is a legitimate arrangement where:
- The person shown as recipient on your payment page is fully authorized by BookingDuo to receive funds for that booking. Authorization letter from BookingDuo's management team can be reviewed and downloaded here.
- All payments received are immediately forwarded (same day or next business day) to our official company business account.
- You will always receive an official invoice/receipt issued in the name of BookingDuo (our registered legal entity), not the individual.
- Your booking confirmation, PNR (Passenger Name Record), and e-ticket are issued directly under BookingDuo's name and can be verified independently with the airline.
We chose this setup to streamline processing for specific payment types (e.g., certain international or SEPA transfers) while keeping administrative costs low — which helps us offer competitive prices to you.
Please do not use our website name when making bank transfers from your bank account, or your payment might be rejected.
Is this safe? It looks unusual compared to other agencies
We completely understand why this might raise questions. Here's why our process is secure and different:
- Funds do not stay in the personal account — they are transferred directly to our company account for full traceability.
- We never ask for irreversible methods like Western Union, crypto, or gift cards — only standard bank transfers (with full details provided in advance).
- You get full booking protection: verifiable PNR on the airline's official website, official documentation from us, and compliance with EU travel regulations.
